RE; Sewage disposal for the new addition of the Brinnon Community Church
Dear Pastor Dalke:
This letter is to inform you that your request to utilize the septic system
currently serving the existing church building for the sewage generated in
the new building is approved by this office. This approval is not
unconditional however. Conditions of this approval follow.
1.) The new facility shall have waste flows iteated in an approved
septic tank prior to being discharged into the existing
drainfield. Two possibilities are available to accomplish this.
a) all of the new additional wastes can go into a septic
tank and then be pumped to the drainfield or
b) all wastes generated in the new addition can be pumped,:
into the existing septic tank. This alternative may
be extremely expensive in that a macerator pump would
be required.
2.) No garbage grinders are to be installed.
3.) Should the kitchen facilities in the new addition be used
on a daily basis, a new drainfield will need to be installed.
This would most likely be in the parking lot area.
'1 4.) Should the existing system malfunction for any reason a new
t drainfield would be required.

! ment but a recommendation so I may advise you on the minimum requirements
�) should the kitchen be used for public functions.
Please submit a permit fee of $15.00 to the Olympic Health District.
