Fund (ER&R) for Flood Plain }
Property Acquisition }
WHEREAS, the ER&R fund provided a loan to the General Fund in the amount of
$300,000 in 1995 per Resolution No. 92-95; and,
WHEREAS, the terms of the loan provided that interest shall be paid to the ER&R
fund at a rate of 5.75% per annum; and,
WHEREAS, a partial payment of the loan has been made from the proceeds of
surplus property; and,
WHEREAS, the total principle and interest owed for the loan is $168,217.90, and
the General Fund has the funds needed to repay the loan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Treasurer is hereby directed to repay to
the ER&R fund from the General Fund the amount of $168,217.90 for principal and accrued
interest for the loan established per Resolution No. 92-95.

In the Matter of Providing A Loan to } RESOLUTION NO. 92-95
the General Fund From the ER&R Fund }
funding the Flood Plain Property Acquisition }
WHEREAS, the County General Fund will reimburse the County ER&R Fund for
costs related to the purchase and acquisition of property lying in the Big Quilcene River Flood
Plain, and
WHEREAS, the E R & R Fund will pay for these costs and bill the General Fund
for reimbursement;
IT IS HEREBY FOUND AND DECLARED that the public health, safety and
welfare requires this Board of County Commissioners to proceed in manner and form as herein
determined, and that the sum of $300,000.00 be loaned to the General Fund from the ER&R Fund.
The loan will be repaid over five years with interest of 5.75% per annum and repayment shall be
made in the amount of $70,735.24 per year beginning the 20th of February, 1996 or at the date such
revenue is generated for these purposes by the sale of surplus property by the County.
