IN THE MATTER OF ACCEPTING
BID TO SUPPL Y AND INSTALL
A SECURITY PAGING SYSTEM AT THE
JEFFERSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE
PROJECT NO. CH1332
RESOLUTION NO.- 19-98
WHEREAS, Jefferson County invited bidders in accordance with
Ordinance #05-0601-92 "SMALL WORKS ROSTER BIDDING PROCEDURE", for the
above mentioned project, and;
WHEREAS, two bids were received in the office of the Department of
Public Works, as shown in the attached bid tabulation, and;
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the people of Jefferson County to
accept the low bid which is complete and responsive, now therefore;
IT IS HEREBY RESOL VED, that the best and most responsive bid
was submitted by Greentree Communications of Sequim, for a total bid amount of
$11,217.88 and that this bid be accepted and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the specifications and contract
documents in their entirety as included in the bid package, are part of this bid
acceptance.

The Securtty AtMsory Board haS nMewed the "Voice paging system" and ~commends approval of the
system as stated in the vendors RFP.
Funding in the fOrm of 510,000,00 has been set aside for the purd1ase or the system. Additional
fundtng wll have to be forthcoming from the BOCC or the Oept, Of Public Wo'*s. The system as it was
originally panned, did nOt incorpotate the after~rs fadJity burglar alarm function.
