WHEREAS, Jefferson County Board of Commissioners on April 27, 1998
called for bids for the above mentioned project, and;
WHEREAS, due notice of the call for bids was given as required by law, and;
WHEREAS, TWO bids were received and opened during public session on
May 18,1998 at 3PM, as shown in the attached bid tabulation, and;
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the people of Jefferson County to accept
the most responsive of the TWO acceptable bids, now therefore;
IT IS HEREB Y RESOL VED, that the best and most responsive bid was
submitted by Wilson Michel Inc. of Port Townsend, for a total base bid amount of $81,405.87
inclusive of the additive alternate, and that this bid be accepted and
IT IS FURTHER RESOL VED, that the specifications and contract
documents in their entirety as included in the bid package, are part ofthis bid acceptance.
