In the Matter of Establishing
Two (2) Cash Drawers for the
WSU Learning Center Program Fund

RESOLUTION NO. 44,,-98
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Cooperative Extension has requested the establishment of
two (2) cash/change drawers in the amount of $100.00 each, for cash transactions dealing with
the WSU Learning Center program fees; and
WHEREAS, the WSU Learning Center Program Fund was established by Resolution No,
6-98; and
WHEREAS, Cooperative Extension has found that it would be in the best interest of the
County, to ensure compliance with the Cash Handling Policy and provide increased internal
controL
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED, that Cooperative Extension is hereby granted two
(2) cash/change drawers in the amount of $100.00 each and the County Treasurer is authorized
to issue a Treasurer's check in the amount of $200.00 payable to the Jefferson County Cooperative
Extension.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the cash/change drawers shall be used ~ by
authorized users, and the drawers shall be cashed out and balanced each night at closing following
the procedures outlined by the Cash Handling Policy.

BE IT FINAlLY RESOLVED, that this Resolution repeals and replaces Resolution No. 31-
