In the Matter of Establishment }
of a Watershed Planning Fund } RESOLUTION NO. 52- 8
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners has established objectives for
watershed Planning in accordance with Chapter 247 Laws of the 1998 Regular Session
of the Washington State Legislature; and,
WHEREAS, the County applied for and was successful in obtaining grant
funding to assist in this planning effort; and,
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Commissioners that it is necessary to
establish a Watershed Planning Fund to handle this grant funding.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners of
Jefferson County have determined that it is in the best interest of Jefferson County that
such a fund be established to be known at the WATERSHED PLANNING FUND
(#124-000-010).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer is hereby authorized
to deposit any grant funding received into this newly established fund.
