WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has received a petition to name a
private road Cougar Run or Black Bear Road or Cougar Hill as shown on attached
Exhibit "A", pursuant to Jefferson County 911 Ordinance Number 2-0401-91 and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to establish this road name to avoid
confusion in addressing and duplication of similar road names and addresses and;
WHEREAS, research has shown that three property owners are currently
addressed on this mile post number that will be affected by the road naming as
shown on attached Exhibit liB", and;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road shall be named Cougar
