Dates for 1999 Budget Review
Hearings
RESOLUTION NO 60-98
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.40,071 and Resolution No, 47-98
(approved June 16, 1998) the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners have
selected the alternate date of the first week in December to hold budget hearings for
the purpose of adoption of the 1999 Jefferson County budget; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No, 47-98 identified the dates of December 1 to 4,
1998 as the dates for the final budget hearing; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners do not meet on a week
that begins with the fifth Monday of a month; and,
WHEREAS, the week that includes Tuesday, December 1, through
Friday, December 4, begins with Monday November 30, 1998 which is the fifth
Monday of November,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners that the 1999 budget reviews shall be held with the Department
Heads and Elected Officials as necessary during the months of October and
November and that during the first full week of December (December 7 through 11,
1998) budget hearings shall be held and upon conclusion of said hearings, the
Jefferson County Budget for 1999 shall be adopted.

RESOLUTION NO47-98
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.40.071, the Jefferson County Board of
Commissioners have selected the altemate date of the first week in December to hold budget
hearings for the purpose of adoption of the ] efferson County budget for 1999; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.40.010, the Jefferson County Auditor shall
norify in wIiting each elective or appointive County öfficial to file with her on or before the
8th day of September 1998, an estimated budget for the ensuing year, for submission to the
Budget Manager by September 22, 1998; now, therefore;
BE IT RESOL VED, that the 1999 budget reviews shall be held with the
Department Heads and Elected Officials as necessary during the months of October and
November and that during the first week in December (December I to 4) budget hearings
shall be held and upon conclusion of said hearings, the Jefferson County Budget for 1999
shall be adopted.
