In the Matter of the Transfer of Funds
from the General Fund to the County
Law Library Fund

RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners has the discretionary authority to
allocate unencumbered funds to any County government purpose; and,
WHEREAS, the County Clerk has advised that the Law Library Fund experiences
cash shortages during the year because revenues collected for that fund are not available when
the budgeted expenditures must be made.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer is hereby
directed to transfer $10,000.00 from the County General Fund to the County's Law Library Fund
and said transfer shall occur as a residual equity transfer; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED, that said funds will be retained in the restricted
cash balance of the County Law Library Fund to cover budgeted expenditures that are incurred
before revenues are collected to cover that expense.
