ACCEPTING BIDS FOR ROAD MAINTENANCE
AND EMERGENCY AGGREGATES

RESOLUTION NO?1-98
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Board of Commissioners on August 3, 1998 called for
bids for the above mentioned project, and;
WHEREAS, due notice ofthe call for bids was given as required by law, and;
WHEREAS, SIX bids were received and opened during public session on
August 17, 1998 at 11 :05 a.m., as shown in the attached bid tabulation, and;
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the people of Jefferson County to select the
most responsive ofthe FNE acceptable bids, now therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the best and most responsive bids were submitted
by BRUCH & BRUCH CONSTRUCTION, INc., for a total bid amOlmt of $65,563.75 and
NORTHWEST ROCK, INc., for a total bid amount of $53,541.00 and SETON
CONSTRUCTION, INc., for a total bid amount of $252,000.00 and CANAL CONSTRUCTION,
for a total bid amount of $78,050.00 and that these bids be accepted for a total bid amount of
$449,154.75 and
IT IS FURTHER RESOL VED, that the specifications and contract documents in
their entirety as included in the bid package, are part ofthis bid acceptance.
