In the matter of:
RESOLUTION NO. 1~97
WHEREAS, an emergency exists due to flooding caused by unusual weather
conditions beginning December 29, 1996, as stated in Resolution Number 122-96, and;
WHEREAS, a hazard exists to the public on Old Gardiner Road, County Road
Number 501409 and Hatchery/Penny Creek Road, County Road Number 302309, due
to washouts caused by flooding and erosion, and;
WHEREAS, Chapter 47.48 RCW authorizes the restriction and closure of
roads;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Old Gardiner Road, County Road
Number 501409, M.P. 3.50 to 3.86 and Hatchery/Penny Creek Road, County Road
Number 302039, M.P. .00 to 0.27 are closed to all unauthorized vehicles and traffic
commencing immediately and remaining closed until such time as the roads are
repaired and reopened.
