In the Matter of
RESOLUTION NO. 56-97
A Boundary Line Adjustment
Between Jefferson County (Lake Leland Park)
And Loren and Shona Davis(private property)
WHEREAS, Jefferson County is the owner of certain real property containing approximately 2.82
acres, known as Lake Leland Park, the description of which is set out as Parcel B on attached EXHIBIT
"A"; and
WHEREAS, Loren and Shona Davis are the owners of certain real property containing
approximately .43 acres, the description of which is set out as Parcel A on attached EXHIBIT "A"; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the aforementioned parties to adjust the common boundary as
mutually agreed to, providing for the benefit of both properties, and
WHEREAS, the common Boundary has been professionally surveyed and the Boundary Line
Adjustment agreement and the Subdivision Exemption has been approved by the Jefferson County Permit
Center, and
WHEREAS, the Boundary line Adjustment Agreement and the Survey and the mutual Quit Claim
Deeds shall be Recorded in the records of the Jefferson County, and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned Boundary Line Adjustment does not substantially affect the value
of either parcel as per the Jefferson County Assessor, and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Park and Recreation Department shall construct and maintain a
fence along the common Boundary line as per EXHIBIT "A". And the placement of said fence shall not be
deemed as the legally described Boundary line due to the mutual concern for the preservation of existing
timber; however, the Legal Descriptions provided by said Boundary Line Adjustment agreement and
mutual Quit Claim Deeds shall reflect the true and legal property descriptions.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board of County Commissioners does now
hereby acknowledge and affirm the Boundary Line Adjustment mutually agreed upon, as described in
Exhibit "A" herein, and does hereby authorize the execution of the Quit Claim Deed attached hereto.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board of County Commissioners
does now hereby authorize the Department of Public Works to record the Documents set forth herein,

consideration of A Boundry Line Adjustment and other valuable consideration. conveys and warrants to LOREN S. DAVIS and
SHONA R. DAVIS. Husband and Wife, The Grantee. the following described real estate, situated in the County of Jefferson,
State of Washington,
