RESOLUTION NO._~-97
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Board of Commissioners on April 28,
1997 called for bids for the above mentioned project, and;
WHEREAS, due notice ofthe call forbids was given as required by law,
and;
WHEREAS, SIX bids were received and opened during public session
on June 2, 1997 at 4PM, as shown in the attached bid tabulation, and;
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the people of Jefferson County to
accept the most responsive of the SIX acceptable bids, now therefore;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the best and most responsive bid
was submitted by Modem Building Systems, Inc. of Aumsville, Oregon, for a total bid
amount of $75,357 and that this bid be accepted and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the specifications and contract
documents in their entirety as included in the bid package, are part of this bid
acceptance.
