HomeMy WebLinkAbout050922ca07 JEFFERSON COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST TO: Board of County Commissioners FROM: Adiel McKnight,Executive Assistant DATE: May 9,2022 SUBJECT: Appoint Member to the Jefferson County Risk Management Committee (RMC) Per Resolution No. 54-19 (No Expiration of Terms): County Administrator Mark McCauley as Director/Risk Manager, and Executive Assistant Adiel McKnight as Claims Administrator STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Effective April 30, 2021 the Director/Risk Manager position on the Risk Management Committee became vacant Mark McCauley began serving as County Administrator on an interim basis on May 1,2021.In the past,the County Administrator has served on the Risk Management Committee as the Director/Risk Manager. Effective February 1,2021 the Claims Administrator position on the Risk Management Committee became vacant. Adiel McKnight accepted the position of Executive Assistant on February 1,2021.In the past,the Executive Assistant has served on the Risk Management Committee as the Claims Administrator. FISCAL IMPACT: None. RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) appoint County Administrator Mark McCauley as Risk Director/Risk Manager and Adiel McKnight as Claims Coordinator to the Risk Management Committee, asconfigured under Jefferson County Resolution No. 54-19.
