DISCUSSION AND POTENTIAL ACTION REGARDING 1/10th of 1% FUNDING RECOMMENDATION for the BOCC /Full Committee a. Do we fund the Therapeutic Court’s request of an additional $95,000 for 2022?(Enclosure- Letter from Barb Carr to Commissioner Eisenhour) b. Can we fund the Therapeutic Courts at $200,000 for 2023 and every year thereafter? (A request for $50,000 would be made of the General Fund for a total of $250,000 needed for the Therapeutic Courts.) c. Can we create a permanent budget line for the Court’s funding request? (Funding would come off the top of the 1/10th of 1% Fund every year and the Courts would no longer have to do an RFP.) d. Do we still want to put out the additional $131,230 l/10th of 1% funding to our existing Vendors? e. The County Administrator recommends we allocate the additional funding amount of $131,230 by proportion to the Vendors, rather than dividing the total amount equally. (The County Administrator will clarify.) f. If we do put the funding out equally and we fund the Courts at the level they are requesting, can we divide the total amount of the additional 1/10th of 1% funding of $131,230, by 15 programs rather than 18 programs? This would be $8,748.66 per program for the rest of 2022. g. Do we put the additional funding of $131,230 out equally or by proportion? h. If needed, can Vendors carry the additional funding over into their 2023 budgets? VII. PUBLIC COMMENTS/Acknowledgment of Written Comments/3 MINUTES EACH VIII. Adjournment of Meeting
