Hi Greg and Adiel:
Thank you for giving me so much support during my journey through the no shoot process.
Gardiner's community meeting made me realize how difficult it will be to define the boundaries for our
requested area.
I started Gardiner's petition with one set of boundaries and then expanded them for the May 9th meeting
in order to be more definitive. At that meeting, I spoke with owners on the east end of the lagoon who
were concerned about losing their target pactice rights. It has not been my intention to restrict personal
liberties on one's private land.
After discussion with others, we have devised the following boundaries that I hope will be satisfactory.
Please submit these requested boundaries with our no shoot petition:
• From the PoPT boat launch on the west to the highest water line of the lagoon on the east and
• From the northern Jefferson County line in Discovery Bay to the highest water line in the wetlands
and lagoon to the south.
I look forward to joining the virtual meeting Tuesday, May 17.
