Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. Hello Emilie, The 10' x 18' shed with lean-to is an existing building. You can't see it on the GIS map because of the trees, but it is there. The new carport is going to be built forward of where the tent shelters used to be, which is just north of the existing shed with lean-to. I now realize that I have placed both sheds and the new carport too far north, in relation to our house, so I corrected the position of the existing 6' x 8' shed, the existing 10' x 18' shed with lean-to along with the proposed new carport site and have attached the corrected site plan in PDF format as requested. DCD Additional Information Request (BLD2022-00269) Hello Angie and Frank, Thank you for the quick response to my initial request for your building permit (BLD2022-00269). Based on your response sent on 05/31/22, there are few corrections needed to proceed with your application. Please make the following corrections to the site plan: 1. Please remove any non-existing buildings and structures from the site plan. For example, the destroyed tent canopy shelters shown as “Existing Shed 10’ x 18’” and the “Existing Lean-To 10’ x18’” on the site plan need to be removed from the plan. 2. Based on the location indicated on your Jefferson County GIS sketch map of the approximate site location sent in your Additional Information Request response, please move the location of the proposed carport to the appropriate location on the site plan. 3. Please submit the JPG Image file of the revised site plan in a PDF format that maintains the 1 inch:72 feet map scale. This ensures that we can upload the file into our database and that the map scale is accurate. Please feel free to call or email me if you have any questions. Once the necessary corrections have been made, you may email me your revised site plan PDF.
