Regarding the variance question. If we grant a variance to the standards, they become
conforming to the permit approval. It would not be considered nonconforming because
the variance would have already been granted. This is consistent with how Jefferson
County has processed variances.

Dear Shannen,
Please find the staff report with some questions attached. I also like having all of the
conditions numbered 1 to the end, as opposed restarting the number so as to avoid
any confusion.
There was one discrepancy that I could not find its origin - it relates to the number of
cabins, which is stated to be ten in the Soundview Assessment (see page 3) but is
mentioned as eleven in the staff report. For this reason, I tried to change it to reflect
the updated Assessment’s numbers.
