HomeMy WebLinkAboutchat10:28:26 From Chambers to Hosts and panelists : Will you be holding the Hearing first, or the CRAB Certificate to Public Works? You could always do the Public Works presentation first and then let the public know the hearing will be delayed a few minutes. 10:29:01 From Heidi Eisenhour to Hosts and panelists : We'll do that. CRAB cert first. 10:31:44 From Chambers to Philip Hunsucker and all panelists : Philip they will be addressing the CRAB cert for PW first, and then the hearing will be running a few minutes late 10:38:12 From Chambers to Hosts and panelists : Looking ahead: Hearing will be starting late, but we also have Jamie from Habitat on the line for the Housing Project announcement, HR Sarah has a meeting 11:45 am to 12:30pm should I have her reschedule her meeting? And remaining Consent Agenda still needs to be addressed/approved. 10:47:33 From Chambers to Jamie Maciejewski and all panelists : Hi Jamie, the Commissioners will be addressing the announcement for the Mason St project after this hearing has ended. Thank you! 11:00:28 From Jim Scarantino to Hosts and panelists : Technical difficulties on my end. This is a knotty question, as every church lets group meet in their buildings. This is religious outreach. Other churches used their kitchens to provide food to the homeless shelter. That is also part of their outreach, part of their religious mission work. Also the buildings are also used for religious purposes, as is the heater upgrade that improves the church's worship faciliti9es. This is clearly a violation of US and Washington constitutional prohibitions. Lastly, does receipt of these funds now require the church to accept groups meeting in its building that hold views in direct conflict with the church's teachings? Will the county prohibit the church from holding any events in these facilities or using the kitchen for anything other than providing food to the homeless shelter? 11:06:24 From Chambers to Siobhan Canty (she/her) and all panelists : Hello Siobhan - The Mason St project will be addressed sometime after this hearing has ended. Thank you 11:06:43 From Chambers to Heidi Eisenhour(Direct Message) : Can the County covid policy wait until the afternoon session? 11:13:24 From Chambers to Hosts and panelists : PHILIP - Re: Updated county covid policy walk-on: HR Director Sarah has a meeting with 2 Judges re: Therapeutic Courts at 11:45 am. We also have the Mason Street Port Hadlock housing project to address after this hearing with housing members present already. Can the covid policy be discussed in the afternoon session if the hearing deliberation goes too long? She has a workshop at 2:30 p.m. Maybe that could be combined with covid policy update? 11:29:55 From Chambers to Hosts and panelists : Commissioners - 2:30pm for the walk-on County Covid policy update works for both Sarah and Philip 11:30:11 From Greg Brotherton to Chambers(Direct Message) : copy. 11:32:42 From Heidi Eisenhour to Chambers(Direct Message) : Perfect. Thanks Carolyn! 11:33:39 From Kate Dean, Jefferson County Commissioner to Chambers(Direct Message) : Can Apple join at 2:30? 11:34:15 From Chambers to Kate Dean, Jefferson County Commissioner(Direct Message) : Yes I will ask 11:42:12 From Chambers to Hosts and panelists : Motion will be to remove Item 10 (if you wish), and then approve remaining Consent Agenda Items 2-9 and 11-15 as presented. 14:26:34 From Chambers to Hosts and panelists : FYI - 5 minutes to next agenda item 15:00:34 From Chambers to Hosts and panelists : I see there is no timeframe for the Beaver Valley Sorts timber sale. You may want to ballpark a timeframe for those on the call who are looking to provide public comment after that workshop. 15:18:09 From Chambers to Apple Martine Jefferson County PH(Direct Message) : Thank you for changing your schedule around to attend :) 15:44:55 From Chambers to Hosts and panelists : Timekeeper here: 45 minutes until end of meeting 16:30:00 From Chambers to Hosts and panelists : The Courthouse is now closed to the public.
