WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has received a petition to name a
private road Tee Lake Road or Ripley Creek Road or Timber Creek Road as shown on
attached Exhibit "A", pursuant to Jefferson County 911 Ordinance Number 2-0401-
91 and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to establish this road name to avoid confusion
in addressing and duplication of similar road names and;
WHEREAS, the petition contains at least 51 % of the signatures of individuals
addressed along the road and;
WHEREAS, a public hearing notice appeared in the Port Townsend
Leader on July 9, 1997 and;
WHEREAS, a public hearing notice and letter of intent was mailed to the one
property owner(s) addressed along the road and agencies affected on July 9, 1997
soliciting comments prior to or at the hearing regarding the naming of the road as
shown on attached Exhibit"B" and;
WHEREAS, written comment(s) has been received as included in attached
Exhibit "C" and a public hearing was held on July 21, 1997 at 3:00 p.m. in the Board
of County Commissioners Chambers to take testimony on the proposed road name
and;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road shall be named Ripley Creek
Road. '\

submitted prior to the hearing date and will become part of the record. All interested
parties are encouraged to attend the public hearing. Please contact the Jefferson
County Department of Public Works in writing at PO Box 2070, Port Townsend
Washington, 98368 or call (360) 385-9166 for further information or if you have any
questions.

INTENT TO NAME A PRIVATE ROAD:
TEE LAKE ROAD
PROPONENT: PACIFIC FUNDING CORPORATION
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Jefferson County Board of
Commissioners on Monday, July 21, 1997, at 3:00 p.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers
at the County Courthouse in Port Townsend, Washington, for the purpose of taking
testimony concerning naming a private road Tee Lake Road or Ripley Creek Road or
TImber Creek Road in Section 35, Township 28 North, Range 2 West, in the Lords Lake
plat off Lords Lake Loop in Quilcene, Washington. Any person may appear at the public
hearing and be heard. Written comments will be accepted prior to the hearing and will be
made part of the record. For further information contact the Jefferson County Department of
Public Works, (360) 385-9166. Written comments may be mailed to Jefferson County

Dear Sirs:
In regards to the naming of the private road / Ripley Creek Road as purposed by Pacific Funding
Corporation, would be just fine with JCFPD # 2.
I would have a concern with the name of Tee Lake Road due to the likeness to Teal Lake Road in
Fire Dist. # 3.
I thank you for giving us the chance to give you input on this project.
