HomeMy WebLinkAbout103 97 ~~ . %':!t1ß¡rufJ J ~-J.H7 JEFFERSON COUNTY STATE OF WASHINGTON In the Matter of } Increase Rate of Pay For } Precinct election Officers } And Pre-Inspection Board Workers} RCW 29.45.120 } RESOLUTION NO. lO3~97 WHEREAS, the precinct election officers (inspectors, judges and clerks) and pre-inspection board workers for Jefferson County have been paid the Washington State minimum wage of $4.90 since 1994. WHEREAS, due to their devotion to the County and willingness to work long hours at a pay rate far below the average employee, the Jefferson County Auditor recommends a pay rate increase for the said election officers to conform to the State minimum wage; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners, that the Auditor be, and is hereby authorized to pay the election workers the new rate established by the State or Federal Government upon a change in the minimum wage.
