WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has received a petition to name a
private road Wildberry Lane or Rocky Lane or E. Toandos Lane located off the Coyle
Road at mile post marker 3.38 in section 10, Township 27 North, Range 1 West in the
Olympic Vista Platt in Quilcene, Washington as shown on attached Exhibit "A",
pursuant to Jefferson County 911 Ordinance Number 2-0401-91 and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to establish this road name to avoid confusion
in addressing and duplication of similar road names and addresses and;
WHEREAS, research has shown that there are currently three individuals
addressed at this mile post number that will be affected by the road name change
and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner is one of the addressees at this mile post number
and the other is a relative to the petitioner and;
WHEREAS, a petition notice and vicinity map were mailed to the petitioner,
addressees and agencies affected on October 7, 1997 soliciting comments prior to the
signing of the resolution on October 27, 1997 as shown on attached Exhibit "B" and;
WHEREAS, two letters of testimony were received prior to October 20, 1997
as shown on attached Exhibit "C",
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road shall be named E. Toandos

the Department of Public Works. Please contact the Jefferson County Department of
Public Works in writing at PO Box 2070, Port Townsend Washington, 98368 or call
(360) 385-9166 for further information or if you have any questions.

PROPONENTS: JOSEPH T. LESH AND CYNTHIA L. LESH
Notice is hereby given that a petition to name a private road has been received by
the Department of Public Works. A resolution has been placed on the Board of
County Commissioner's Consent Agenda for approval on Monday, October 20,
1997. The road is located off a private road on the Coyle Road at mile post marker
3.38 in Section 10, Township 27 North, Range 1 West, in the Olympic Vista Platt in
Quilcene, Washington. Any interested person may contact the Department of Public
Works. Written comments will be accepted prior to the signing of the resolution and
will be made part of the record. For further information contact the Jefferson County

RE: Notice of petition to namt: private roads
J would like to comment on two diftèrent notice ofpetítions that are to be addressed on Monday,
OCtober 20, 1997.
The fIrst one is a petition by Joy and Mike Mctàdden. Due to the location directly across from
Toandos Road it is our teeling that the appropriate name should be E. Toandos Road.
The second petition by Joseph and Cynthia Lesh. Any of the three names wiU work but it is our
feeling E. Toandos Lane would be the optimal choice 101' us.
