IN THE MATTER OF
ACCEPTING BID FOR EQUIPMENT RENTAL FOR

WHEREAS, Jefferson County Board of Commissioners on March 11, 1996 called for bids
for the above mentioned project, and;
WHEREAS, due notice of the call for bids was given as required by law, and;
WHEREAS, two bids were received and opened during public session on
March 18, 1996 at 11:15 a.m., as shown in the attached bid tabulation, and;
WHEREAS, eighteen of the thirty items listed in the proposal were bid, and;
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the people of Jefferson County to select the most
responsive of the two acceptable bids, now therefore,
ITIS HEREBYRESOLVED, that the best and most responsive bids was submitted bY Seton
Construction, Inc., fOr the following individual items listed:
