Recommendation of Award of Contract for Surfacing and Traffic
Items, Emergency Restoration of Upper Hoh Road, X01244
Public Works has completed checking all bids submitted and recommends that the
Board of County Commissioners award the above referenced contract to Lakeside
Industries, Inc., of Port Angeles for their bid of $133,336.89.
Although only one bid was received, due to the project emergency status and that the
bid is within five percent (5%) of the engineer's estimate, Public Works feels that to
delay and re-bid would be counter productive.
