IN THE MATTER OF }
ACCEPTING BID FOR CONSTRUCTING }
THE WEST EGG & I ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT }
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT, CR1117 }
RESOLUTION NO. 55-96
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Board of Commissioners on June 17, 1996 called for
bids for the above mentioned project, and;
WHEREAS, due notice of the call for bids was given as required by law, and;
WHEREAS, THREE bids were received and opened during public session on
July 1, 1996 at 11:25 a.m., as shown in the attached bid tabulation, and;
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the people of Jefferson County to select the
most responsive of the THREE acceptable bids, now therefore,
ITIS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the best and most responsive bid was submitted by
SETON CONSTRUCTION, INC., for a total bid amount of $252,397.50 and that this bid be
accepted and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the specifications and contract documents in
their entirety as included in the bid package, are part of this bid acceptance.
