IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works
will initiate and complete the following project:
Design, engineer, implement, construct, and manage a watershed
restoration project on the Big Quilcene River Basin specifically
located on the property owned by Russel and Cindy Corey. This
project will include protection of the riverbank with log and rock
structures according to plans developed in cooperation with
Jefferson County and Washington State Department of Fish and
Wildlife.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that funding will be provided from
the following source(s).
PURPOSE APPROPRIATION SOURCE
Project Total $ 42,582
US Fish and Wildlife
Jobs for the Environment Grant
(as per signed agreement)
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that construction of this project will
commence in July 1996 and the estimated time for completion is October,
1996. Design for this project will be a cooperative effort between
Jefferson County and Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Construction will be accomplished by contract and by Jobs for the
Environment labor force. The project management will be accomplished by
Jefferson County Department of Public Works.
