WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has been petitioned to
establish the name of a certain private road located in Section 17, Township 28 North,
Range 1 East, W.M., as shown on attached Exhibit "A", and
WHEREAS, a majority of the property owners, addressed along said road, are in
agreement regarding the name,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road shall be named Village Way.

.SUB[ECT: Naming of road and new addressing for complex
This Department has received a request from the Post Office, with concurrence from the Fire
Department, to reorganize the addressing associated with The Village Center Office Complex. The
original addressing assigned to the complex when it was first constructed was adequate at the time
however, since then with the addition of more offices and the division of larger office spaces into
multiple units the system has become very cumbersome and complex.
I have talked to Pope Resources and they have come up with three possible names for the road
running through the middle of the complex.(see attached) The Board of County Commissioners
will review these and approve one of them. All of the office spaces will then be given an address
number assigned from the new road.
This Department realizes that this procedure is difficult and inconvenient for business owners
however, we feel it is necessary in the interest of public safety. In addition the Post Office will work
with all of you to forward all mail for a period of one year. This should give you all a chance to use
up your old stationary prior to purchasing your new forms.
