HomeMy WebLinkAbout071 96In the matter of Establishing a Facilities Advisory Board ST,ATE OF WASHINGTON COUNTY OF JEFFERSON ) ) RESOLUTION NO. ) 71~96 WHEREAS, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners is responsible for providing safe and efficient public facilities and projects, and for prioritizing and funding said Capital Facilities and projects, and WHEREAS, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners wishes to establish a Capital Facilities Advisory Board, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board hereby creates a Capital Facilities Advisory Board that shall be vested with the responsibility to make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on the prioritization of projects and expenditures related to public facilities as outlined in the six year Capital Improvement Program (6 yr. CIP). The Capital Facilities Advisory Board shall work with the Department of Public Works staff to solicit, analyze, budget and prioritize projects on an annual basis in conjunction with the County budget process. Said Board shall consist of representation from each of the following Departments, and commissioner districts: Law and Justice Public Works Facilities Assessor, Treasurer, Auditor Planning/Health Staff member from BOCC citizen rep from District 1 citizen rep from District 2 citizen rep from District 3 That said Board may add representatives from other County Departments, groups, agencies, interest groups or companies according to said Board's due process.
