Resolution No. 73-96
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has been petitioned by Jefferson County
Public Works to change the name of certain private road(s) located in the plats of Irondale 4, 5 & 6 in Sections
34 & 35, Township 30 North, Range 1 West, W.M., as shown on attached Exhibit "A", and
WHEREAS, in the plat of Imndale 4, Hilton Ave. will be changed to W. Hilton Ave.,
WHEREAS, in the plats of Irondale 5 & 6, all roads north of Prospect Ave. will be changed to NORTH.
All roads south of Prospect Ave. will be changed to SOUTH. All roads east of Kala Point Drive/Law Ave. will
be changed to EAST. All roads west of Kala Point Drive/Law Ave. will be changed to VVEST,
WHEREAS, in the plat of Irondale 5, Island View Ave. (C678209), a certain county road, beginning at
M.P. 0.12L from Kala Point Ddve for the length of 0.12 miles and the pdvate portion extending to 0.20 miles,
will be changed to W. Island View Ave.,
WHEREAS, in the plat of Irondale 6, that portion of Olympic Ave. that abuts Block 159 will be a
continuation of E. Island View Ave., that portion of Olympic Ave. that abuts Block 158 will be a continuation of
Prospect Ave. and that portion of Olympic Ave. that abuts Block 157 will be a continuation of E. Cascade Ave.,
names.
WHEREAS, a majority of property owners using said roads are in agreement regarding changing the
