ACCEPTING BID FOR EMERGENCY RESTORATION }
OF THE QUINAULT SOUTH SHORE ROAD, COUNTY }
ROAD PROJECT, XO1243 }
RESOLUTION NO. 77-96
IfHEREA$, Jefferson County Board of Commissioners on August 12, 1996 called for bids
for the above mentioned project, and;
WHERF~S, due notice of the call for bids was given as required by law under the
emergency statues of the State of Washington, and;
WHEREAS, FOUR bids were received and opened during public session on
August 19, 1996 at 11:45 a.m., as shown in the attached bid tabulation, and;
WHERFA$, it is in the best interest of the people of Jefferson County to select the most
responsive oftbe FOUR acceptable bids, now therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the best and most responsive bid was submitted by
FRIEND & RIKALO, INC., for a total bid amount of $746,975.50 and that this bid be accepted and,
IT I$ FURTHER RESOLVED, that the specifications and comract documents in their
entirety as included in the bid package, are part °fthis bid acceptance.
