RESOLUTION NO.
85-96
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works will
initiate and complete the following project:
Implement, Construct and Manage the excavation of three gravel
traps (an approximate total of 3000 cu. yd.) on the Big Quilcene
River. Two traps are located near the Shada property, and one
trap is near the old Rodgers Street Bridge approach. These are
the same gravel traps that were excavated in 1995.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that funding will be provided from the
following source(s).
PURPOSE APPROPRIATIQN
Project Total $ $7,600
SOURCE
Quilcene Flood Fund
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that construction of this project will commence
in Mid October 1996 and the estimated time for completion is 4 to 5 days.
Construction will be accomplished by contract with the Jobs for the
Environment labor force, who will also provide equipment. County trucks
will be utilized for gravel haul. The project management will be
accomplished by Jefferson County Department of Public Works.
