In the Matter of the transfer of funds
from the General Fund to the
County Capital Improvement Fund
RESOLUTION NO.
114-96
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners have established objectives to fund necessary capital
projects with excess revenues received; and,
WHEREAS', the Board of Commissioners has the discretionary authority to allocate said i~eo~e
to any County government purpose; and,
WHEREAS, in 1996 the General Fund received excess revenue from various revenue sources.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer is hereby authorized to
transfer $100,000.00 from the County General Fund to the County's Capital Improvement Fund
and said transfer shall occur as a residual equity transfer; and,
BE IT FURTHER RE$OL FED, that said funds will be retained in the County Capital
Improvement Fund and not used for renovation or any other project until such time that the
County has developed, reviewed and approved a Capital Improvement Plan which will detail how
the funds are to be spent.
