Hello Mr. Munn,
Yes, 250 Cougar Run Rd would be a fine temporary address. Temporary addresses are good for
directing people to a property. Because it is temporary and not shared with the post office, you will
not receive mail at 250 Cougar Run Rd.
Please contact me if you have questions.

Hello again Mr. Munn,
Thank you for the phone call.
When you choose a temporary address, please share it with me. I will update staff so everyone
can answer potential questions from the power company.
Your neighbors Mark Stella, Jon Strickland, and Adam Newman will share the road. Having their
support for the road names would be beneficial. Here is sample language you could ask them to
sign:
“We, the follow property owners that are or will be accessing the road to be named, have
reviewed the proposed names and agree with the choices. We understand that when the road is
named our addresses will change. We understand that if the private road sign at the entrance of
the road is stolen or destroyed, it will be the shared responsibility of all property owners to
replace and maintain the sign.”
Neighbors who sign should include their full name and parcel number.
If you have further questions, please contact me. I am able to respond to emails more quickly than
phone calls because I have frequent meetings away from my desk and phone. No matter how you
contact me, I will reply as swiftly as possible.

Helena,
Hello, my name is Shauna Coleman. My husband and I live @ 323 Cougar Run Rd and we are
wanting clarification on the proposed "road name change" associated with our road. We are
trying to clarify if this will only affect the part of the road that goes out to the new lots or if it
the entire road. My husband and I and I am sure many other of our neighbors do not want our
road name changed from Cougar Run Rd as it will cause a lot of difficulty in mail system, etc.
As the new proposed road has it's beginning on the corner of our property I want to ensure
that our address does not change and that the road goes into effect further up the road from
us.
Confusion in that the letter says "road name change" instead of something like "new road
name". I appreciate your feedback.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Shauna Coleman

Good morning all,
Below are the definitions of those road types mentioned per the “Petitions to name or change
the name of a road in Jefferson County”. I am fine with a Court or Place and even Lane as
long as the definition of a Lane is met.
Court (CT) - A short Dead-end road with no intersecting roads
Place (PL) - A short Dead-end road with no intersecting roads
Lane (Ln) – A short road ending in a cul-de-sac with no intersecting roads.

a circle drive at the end.
