The following information is needed to continue review of your project. The applicant(s) have submitted a Small Stormwater Packet to the Jefferson County Department of Community Development ("DCD"). On page 2 of the Small Stormwater Packet, the applicants have described 0 square feet of new impervious surface and 3,869 square feet of existing impervious surface. Pages 1 and 2 of the Small Stormwater Packet must be filled out as if the proposed Additional Dwelling Unit ("ADU") has not been built. For example, if the applicant(s) proposed a 400 square foot ADU and 800 square feet of new associated driveway/ parking areas, then the total new impervious surface line would state 1,200 square feet. Jefferson County DCD is therefore requesting that the applicant(s) revise the Small Stormwater Packet to reflect the correct total new impervious surface, total existing impervious surface, and the total new + total existing impervious surface lines. Please keep in mind that the total land disturbance line on page 1 may also need to be revised. In addition, please describe the current stormwater management controls installed for the existing ADU. Is the applicant dispersing stormwater into the backyard areas? The assigned planner (Ms. Hunt) is available for assistance if requested. Please submit the above information to the Department of Community Development within 90 days of the date of this letter which would be 7/3/2022.
