MINUTES
September 13, 1971
10:00a. m, Meeting called to order by Chairman A. M. O'Meara with Commissioner George
Huntingford being present and Commissioner Walter A, Kelly absent.
Mr. Bill Breitweg appeared regarding Lease of Indian Island nroperty. He was informed that
no verification of lease had come through from the Navy. He will be notified as soon as Board
receives word.
Commissioners approved and signed August bills to be naid in September, as follows;
Board received estimate for reprinting 100 conies of the County Platting Ordinance from the
Leader Co. , Inc., for the amount of $270. Estimate accented.
Request from E. A. Dahman to lease certain tidelands from the county denied by the Board
due to limited public beach in that area.
Request from Naval Torpedo Station, Keyport, to dumn solid refuse in the co unty dump south
of Hadlock. Estimated quanity would be 40 cubic yards every 3 to 4 weeks. Permission
granted by Board.
Application for assistance from Soldiers' & Sailors' Relief Fund from Donald LeRoy Wells,
approved by the Board for $125.
Motion by Commissioner Huntingford, second by Chairman O'Meara to approve minutes of
Sept. 7th. meeting.
Notice from State Liquor Control Board of license transfer from Elmer Dieu Estate, d/b/a
Curley's Place, to Patricia Margaret Guthrie. Copy of Class BC EF license included.
County trust land transmittal of funds: $475, 31 from Wilbur E. Seton,
Board received latest draft of the Olympic Chip Log Price Agreement from the Dept. of Natural
Resources, without comment.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
