Jan 1 Property shall be subject to taxation at 12 o'clock
noon and the value of property for assessment purposes
shall be the value as of that date . RCW84.36.005,

Jan 2 Motor vehicle plates (tabs ) on sale at County Auditors
offices . RCW 46.12.220
Jan 5 The County Treasurer shall settle accounts with the
Board of County Commissioners . ROW 36.29.080
Jan 5 The County Treasurer shall balance the Tax Rolls and
report to the Auditor for the amounts of taxes collected
and uncollected. ROW 84.56.300
Jan 5 County Commissioners and Auditor shall count the money
in the county treasury. RCW 36.22.010, 36 .32 .180.
Jan 5 County Commissioners shall visit the County Jail.

Jan 5 The County Auditor shall issue to the County Treasurer
his warrant authorizing the treasurer to collect the
taxes .- ROW 84.56.010
Jan 12 The e County Treasurer shall designate one or more banks
as depositaries of public funds and file the designation
with county board. RCW 36.48.010.
Jan 15 ,,County Assessorrshall transmit to the state auditor an
abstract of the tax rolls . RCW 84.48.050.
