WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of
County Commissioners that it is not in the public interest to continue
to maintain as a part of the County Road System:
Rose Street between Blocks 1,2,4 & 5 from
the west line extended of Blocks 4 & 5,
and the east line extended of Blocks 1 & 2
(west line of Washington Street) also an
unnamed street between Blocks 1,2,4 & 5
from the north line extended of Blocks 1 &
4 and the south line extended of Blocks 2
& 5, all in Josephine Campbells Addition
to Quilcene;
and in contemplation of the language of the statute RCW 36.87.
010, the same is useless, now 'therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does
now declare its intention to vacate and abandon said road, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby di-
rected to examine said road and report his opinion as to whether this
county road should be vacated and abandoned; whether any is in use or
has been in use; the condition thereof, and whether it will be advis-
able to preserve said road for the County Road System in the future;
whether the public will be benefited by the proposed adandonment, and
all other facts, matters and things which will be of importance to the
Board; and that such report be filed as soon as possible.
