HomeMy WebLinkAbout006 76RESOLUTION NO. ~-'~6 TRANSFER OF FUNDS WHEREAS, on order to comply with policy adopted by the Olympic Health District Budget Committee December 4, 1973, and approved by the Board of Health December 14, 1973, BE IT RESOLVED, and the County Treasurer be and she is hereby authorized to transfer on the books of her office from the "Jefferson County Tuberculosis Control Fund" the amount of $17,948.68 to the "Olympic Health District Pooling Fund"; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer is hereby authorized to transfer from the "Jefferson County Tuberculosis Hospital Fund" the amount of $17,783.00 to the "Olympic Health District Pooling F~n~". Jefferson County Commissioners Jefferson County Courthouse Port Townsend, Washington 98368 Dear Sirs: The Jefferson County Treasurers office indicates on December 31, 1975 a balance in the Tuberculosis Control Fund of $17,948.68. Following the policy adopted by the Olympic Health District Budget Committee December 4, 1973 and approved by the Board of Health December 14, 1973 (copy enclosed), I hereby request that you authorize the Treasurer to transfer the $17,948.68 to the Public Health Fund. The Treasurer"'~.~ balance December 31, 1975 also indicates a balance in the Tuberculosis Hospital Fund of $21,383.00. Following the policy mentioned above I hereby request that $3,600.00 be reserved for possible hospital costs and the balance of $17,783.00 be transferred to the Public Health Fund. Concurrence in the use of these funds is contained in Dr. Beare's letter (copy enclosed) of January 22, 1976. The actual figures are different because they were estimated and now I have the actual year- end balance. District Health Officer 903 East Caroline Port Angeles, Washington 98632 Dear Doctor Benham: Your letter of January 14, 1976 regarding the t~ansfer of Tuberculosis Control funds and Tuberculosis HosPital funds to your Public Health Pooling fund for the use of supporting general public health activities has been received. Based upon a review of the'information provided in your letter, I concur with the transfer of unexpended funds totalling $16,000..00 from the Tuberculosis Control fund and. $16,000.00 from the Tuberculosis Hospital fund to the Public Health Pooling fund, pending approval of the Jeffer- son County Commissioners and the Olympic Health District board.
