WHEREAS, Part 51 of Subtitle B of Title 31, Code of Federal
Regulation, amended October, 1975, authorizes the expenditure of
Revenue Sharing funds for the acquisition of property for recreational
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has made a pur-
chase offer for Lot 89, Irondale Acre Tracts, which adjoins the
county's Oak Bay Park property, and said offer has been accepted by
the present owner; and
WHEREAS, said lot would be utilized for public recreation;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the County Auditor be and she
is hereby authorized to draft a warrant in the amount of $8,500.00
from the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund for the purchase of Lot 89,
Irondale Acre Tracts, Jefferson County, Washington, for use by the
county for recreational purposes.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 26th day of April, 1976.
