WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
Board of County Commissioners that the Jefferson County Assessor's
budget for 1976 has insufficient funds to meet additional ex-
penditures necessary caused by the theft and vandalism of one
o5 their vehicles,
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board that an emergency exists
as could not have been foreseen or contemplated at the time of
making the budget for 1976 and the sum of $436.57 is necessary
to meet such emergency and is for the Best interests of Jefferson
County that.the appropriation be made;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby
declared, that an appropriation of $436.57 be made for the
County Assessor's.office to be used for monies reimbursable
by the Insurance Company, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the emergency.request
be considered non-debatable due to the fact that the appropriated
amount is 100% reimbursable by the Insurance Company.
