WHEREAS, Northern Tier Pipeline Company has made application
for a permit which, if granted, would authorize location and const-
ruction of an oil transmission pipeline in and across Jefferson County,
and,
~HEREAS, RCW 80.50.030 creates an "energy facility site
evaluation council" with membership including a representative of the
County legislative authority of each county wherein an application
for a proposed facility,.~such as requested by Northern Tier Pipeline
Company on July 6, 1976, is filed, Now, Therefore,
BE II~ FURTHER RESOLVED, that B.~. Brown, Chairman of Board
of County Commissioners is designated as the Jefferson County
representative in the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council.and
David Cunninghamw..Director of the Planning Department, is alternate
representative on 'the said council.
