A RESOLUTION DECLARING A NON-DEBATABLE. EMERGENCY AND APPROP-
RIATING FUNDS TO THE GENERAL ADMINISTRATION FOR THE PUYALLUP
FAIR EXHIBIT (573.70.51) TO MEET SAID EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, there has been brought to the attention of the
Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, Washington
that the Puyallup Fair Exhibit (573.70.51) has insufficient
funds to meet expenditures not budgeted for 1976, caused by an
unavoidable increase of expenses,
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board that an emergency
exists as could not have been foreseen or contemplated at the
time of making the budget for 1976 and the sum of $100.00 is
necessary to meet such emergency and is for the best interests
of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby
declared, and that the appropriation of $100.00 be made for
the Puyallup Fair Exhibit to be used for said emergency, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the emergency request
constitutes a non-debateable emergency within the provisions
of (R.C.W. 36.40.180).
