The following announcement is from Olympic Water and Sewer, Inc. and is brought to you as a public service of the PLVC Utilities Committee
<https://imgssl.constantcontact.com/letters/images/PT13966/CustomDivider.png>
Come See the New Filtration Facility
Date: July18, 2022
Where: 1306 Teal Lake Road, Port Ludlow, WA
To access the site enter Olympic Terrace
(via Springwood Drive) and follow Mt. Constance
Way to Mt. Wilder Way. There will be signs to
direct you to the facility
Time: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
The filtration facility was constructed in 2021 to remove manganese and arsenic from the water. The filtration project was funded by a low interest loan.
OWSI customers are paying for 70% of the project cost by way of a seven dollar (reduced from $10) per billing surcharge and OWSI is paying for the remaining 30%.
PLVC congratulates OWSI on the early completion of a complex project which ensures a much safer water supply to our community for years to come. PLVC would also like to say thank you
to PLA/OWSI for the continuous updates which were received as construction progressed and for keeping the community informed.
The previous OWSI Customer Letter explains how the cost of financing the project has been reduced to the benefit of our community.
