Questions for Dr Allison Berry:
1. For someone who has tested negative, but has a positive household member, what are the best practices?
If the negative person decides to not mask up and decides to continue sharing personal spaces with the positive person, do they need to act differently than someone who does take the
extra precautions?
2. I've had two adverse reactions ever since my second full Moderna vaccination in February 2021. (First, a sore arm emanating from that exact same injection place. And second, rashes
of subcutaneous pimples never before experienced. Both symptoms persist.)
Considering that full Moderna vaccination status and 1 Moderna booster in December 2021 didn't prevent my 5-week severe Covid case that began in May, I'm not so inclined to get another
of the same type of booster.
Will the NovaVax vaccine be available locally for boosters, and if so would that help with a different immunity?
Any other recommendations for people like me?
3. Are we seeing BA.5 in local cases?
Is BA.5 responsible for local surges?
4. We are having a raging debate every Transit Board meeting about whether or not to bring back transit operators who happen to be unvaccinated for COVID19. Trying to balance whether
or not the 8x higher risk of death according to the CDC is worth more service?
Am I right to be helping defend transit operators having a vaccine against COVID19 mandate in July of 2022?
5. Which of the Omicron sub-variants are here in Jefferson County?
As the sub variants keep coming, is it less likely that a rapid test will pick up the BA-4 or BA-5 variant?
6. I've been critical of Dr. Berry since the start of her COVID-19 policies.
l am putting forward a request in this email that Dr. Berry please share AT LEAST THREE studies showing that masks work because all of the ones I have seen that say so are either poorly
designed, have no statistical significance, are fraudulent, or weren't peer-reviewed.
Dr. Berry has said before that wearing a mask reduces transmission by up to 90%. Where's the data? I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know.
7. Would Dr Berry please comment on this paper: Covid‐19 vaccination BNT162b2 temporarily impairs semen concentration and total motile count among semen donors.
