Commissioners Brotherton, Dean & Eisenhour:
The June 11, 2022 Analysis from the Department of Community Development specific to the Legal Lot of Record policy for Pre-1971 plats is somewhat incomplete. While the Department cited
the Planning Commission recommendation to extend the outreach program into the fall of 2022, it failed to follow the recommendation from the Planning Commission to promptly contact
those specific property owners by mail that are/may be impacted by the restrictions of the 1971 Legal Lot of Record Moratorium.
I would ask the County Administration and Commissioners to direct the Department of Community Development to promptly communicate mail to those Jefferson County property owners that
are impacted by this moratorium.
