NACo, the National League of Cities and Brookings Metro recently released an analysis of State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF) allocations <https://www.mmsend50.com/link.cfm?r=0yckTxTLRi2lPvc5

Department by the end of 2021. The findings indicate:
* Large counties and cities had budgeted 41 percent of their total SLFRF funds, or 82 percent of their in-hand first tranche funds, by the end of 2021
* Large counties budgeted 30 percent of their total SLFRF allocation, or 61 percent of their in-hand first tranche funds, by the end of 2021
* Actual expenditures on cities’ and counties’ budgeted projects as of December 31 represented 10 percent of their total SLFRF allocations, or 20 percent of their available first-tranche
funds.
