Good afternoon.
Attached, please find the Request for Information (RFI) for the building of the next five Hybrid Electric Olympic Class ferries. It’s also available on WSFs contracts page <https://www.wsdot.com/Ferr

Replies to the RFI, due by August 29, are the first step in issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the new vessels. As outlined in the document, WSF is working toward issuing the
RFP in October, moving to phase two, preparation of technical proposals, with up to three of the best qualified proposers, in February 2023.
We’re extremely appreciative of the support the legislature showed in funding the next five Hybrid Electric Olympic Class ferries and excited to get the new-build process underway.
