Dear Folks,
I believe that I have until 4 pm today to comment. I am a neighbor of the Gun Club.
My comment is this, regarding the above permit:
My uncle, his children (my first cousins) and their children are all hunters, shooting mostlyduck, with some big game. I am not opposed to and in fact, support safe firearm use and
hunting culture. In much of the country hunters are a necessary apex predator in areas wherethe natural predators are extinct.
But gun culture has been bent and it has allowed constant massacres and mass shootings in
this country that are uncommon in the rest of the civilized world.
I would therefore as the members of this local club to relinquish their military style assaultweapons and work to change gun culture and help to reduce/ eliminate this scourge of
violence in our country.
