IN THE MA ITER OF INCREASING THE
CASH DRAWER AMOUNT FOR JEFFERSON
COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES

RESOLUTION NO.-1ß-94
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Animal Services has a cash drawer
established with $20.00 in change and they have requested that the amount be increased
to $60.00 to cover cash transactions in their office in a timely manner; and
WHEREAS, it appears that increasing the cash drawer to the sum of
$60.00 is necessary in order to conduct the affairs of Animal Services in a prompt and
orderly manner; now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer be, and she is hereby
authorized to issue a Treasurer's check in the amount of $40.00 payable to Jefferson
County Animal Services for the purpose of increasing the amount of their cash drawer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the subject matter hereof is one to
meet needs and this Resolution shall be in force and take effect without further notice
or hearing.
