OF CERTAIN LANDS TO JEFFERSON
COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT #3

RESOLUTION NO. 50-94
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the Board of Fire
Commissioners of Jefferson County Fire Protection District #3 for the annexation of
certain lands owned by Pope Resources, a Delaware Limited Partnership, and;
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Jefferson County Fire
Protection District #3 have passed Resolution No. 94-008, pursuant to RCW 52.04.031
and 52.04.041, held the required public hearing and voted that the annexation be
approved.
NOw, THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Jefferson County, that all the lands situated in Jefferson County as
described in the attached Exhibit A (with map), be and are hereby annexed to Jefferson
County Fire Protection District #3.

Jefferson County Board of Fire Commissioners, District No.3, Port Ludlow, Washington
have accepted the petition from Pope Resources for annexation of the attached properties
described in Resolution No. 94-008.
The notice of annexation was published on March 16, 1994 and March 23, 1994 and
posted in three (3) places for ten (10) days.

A Resolution Annexing Certain Lands to Jefferson County Fire
Protection District No.3
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
On March 3, 1994, Pope Resources, a Delaware Limited
Partnership, submitted to Jefferson County Fire
Protection District No.3 a petition for annexation of
the land described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated by reference, and shown on the map in
Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated by
reference; and
Pope Resources is the owner of more than 60% of the
land to be annexed, the land is contiguous to the
District and the petition meets all of the requirements
of RCW 52.04.031; and
notice of the public hearing on said petition was
posted in five public places within the area proposed
for annexation and published in the Port Townsend
Leader in accordance with RCW 52.04.041¡ and
a public hearing was held on March 29, 1994 to consider
the annexation of said lands, at the conclusion of
which the Board of Fire Commissioners voted to approve
the annexation¡
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the land described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and incorporated by reference, be and hereby
